After my ‘not-so-good’ second run of week 8 I was hopeful that run 3 would be better.
I made sure to drink plenty of water yesterday, I also decided to have a banana and a small orange juice an hour before I set out for today’s run as I don’t think fasted runs are great for me - even though I do like running in the morning.
I had the usual difficult first 10 minutes but after that I settled into a good pace and for some of the run it actually felt easy (I couldn’t believe it)! This wasn’t my fastest or furthest run, but it was my best one yet because it didn’t feel like a struggle and I didn’t have to battle with myself to keep going the whole way through. I also took a different route to normal which I think also helped.
Hope you all have good weekends and I’ll be moving onto week 9 on Monday! 🥳

Thanks Jools, I was glad this run went better than the last otherwise I think I would have been a bit disheartened going into the final week! Can’t believe I only have three runs left 🏃🏼♀️
Lots of lessons to learn there.......the importance of hydration, that not going so fast is easier and that you are getting stronger with each and every run.
Ohhhhhhh good run Laura runs, that graduation is in sight 👍
Well done on your final run of week 8!! Sounded like it was a good one which is great motivation as you move into week 9 💪🏼 Week 8 run 3 for me on Monday..hoping that fierce wind dies down a bit before then but will be going for it as best I can.
Thank you ☺️ Definitely glad to be ending week 8 on a high! Good luck for your next run, I always find running in the wind harder so fingers crossed the weather improves for you 🤞🏼
