I am 56. I'm asthmatic. I'm 10 stone and 5' tall. When I started back in January I would have to sit down and have a puff of ventolin by about the fourth 60-second run. And here I am in the middle of Week 7. What an excellent programme this is.

Well done, you must be feeling fantastic! I have just started wk 2, but my other half, who is also struggling with his asthma, is repeating wk 1, so I will show him you post as inspiration and proof that it can be done! Thank you for sharing, and go you!!
Thanks NatG. I repeated W1 as well, until I could get round without stopping. Doing this programme has improved my asthma no end.
I was given some very good advice by people on the forum, which has worked for me: firstly, to cover my mouth and nose if running in the cold, and secondly to take ventolin about 20-30 minutes before going out, so it has a chance to....seep into all your pores or whatever it is that it does. Oh, and not to go too fast. Good luck to you and your husband!
Good on yer!! I am also on week 7 and never thought I'd get this far.
I too have asthma and am at the end of week 7. I typically take a puff before going out and have been extremely surprised on how well my lungs are holding up! I've even forgotten my puff a couple of times and was able to complete run. Way to go...and keep on going!
