hi everyone. I've just completed week 5 of the programme - this has taken me a little longer than 5 weeks due to the mental challenge of achieving run 3 of week 5, but I did it yesterday and am very chuffed with myself. Combined with Weightwatchers since January, I celebrated by giving away 6 large carrier bags of my old large clothes to Oxfam today
Week 6 starts tomorrow and the thought that by the end of this week I won't run another run without breaks is very daunting but I am so determined to complete the programme!

Well done you. Must be great to really see a difference. I don't need to lose weight but serious toning is required and I think it will be bit longer before I see a difference.
I am now on week 8 and like you was dreading not being able to walk during the run. Some runs have been harder than others but my advice would be to do as Laura says and worry about how long you run and not how fast. You can always speed up later in the run if you have the energy.
Well done, what an inspiration you are. I have put a stone and a half on over the past year and a half due mainly to lack of exercise, and its been tough feeling my cloths getting tighter and tighter,, I hope I can acheive as much as you have. I did run 1 yesterday and I can already feel some muscles under all the wobbly bits. Your doing great.
I'd like to blame my two pregnancies, but unfortunately I've been overweight for years before. But this time I'm determined to get to a realistic goal and stay there. Now I've got no clothes to fall back on
What a great achievement so far... Don't worry too much about the continuous running, you will be ready as long as you take it steady at first. I think every graduate can honestly admit to being daunted by that prospect at some point in the program! Keep up the great work.
