This is probably the fourth or fifth time I've attempted C25K. They say if at first you don't succeed try, try, and try again and that advice certainly worked for me.
Thank you to everyone on this forum who directly or indirectly provided me with the support I needed to get through the program. The biggest takeaway for me was simply to listen to your body and if it's telling you it's tired it probably means you're running too fast and need to slow down.
I don't believe I will ever be able to run 5K in 30 minutes but that really doesn't matter. The physical and mental benefits I've already enjoyed from running are justification enough to keep going and I'll be absorbing the post C25K advice on the website once I've finished a congratulatory beer or two.

Congratulations 👏🏻 I bet you feel on top of the world! Enjoy those beers and then continue with your consolidation runs. Getting to 5k took me around 3 weeks of consolidation runs - it doesn’t matter how long it takes to run a 5k - as you’ve already found out, just take it slowly! Happy running!
