Move up to 8 minutes π seemed daunting - but I listened to all your advice and took it slow and steady.
I can't believe I'm actually enjoying running. Gearing myself up for Run 3 - full 20 mins - but determined to do it!!!

Well done you.. slow and steady as you move on
Sorry I hit the button too quickly! You are doing so well and, as the runs get longer you will be able to relax into them...keep it at a steady pace and you will be just fine
Thanks Oldfloss - the support through here - and you - has helped me persevere and stick with it.
Im not enjoying running enough that I'm not counting down to when it says 60 secs to go - but I keep going till the end!
Stamina that you will develop going slow, and slowly increasing your minutes will in the end play some good tricks with your strength. Before you know you will be able to stretch an hour at easy pace without feeling battered.
And that strength will propel you to run faster over chosen distances, if that is your thing.
Keep us posted & enjoy yourself
Enjoy the next run, just relax and all will be fine
The longer runs are great. You get to really surprise yourself as to what you can achieve.
Plus....because you are now used to slow and steady you really get to get into a methodical slow rhythmic pace and just settle in and enjoy the ride.
You will smash R3>
Looking forward to your 'woo hoo' post
Well done that is a good step up. Dont look too far ahead - one step at a time
