I think you're probably right about the weighing - I think it often takes a few weeks of running before the weight comes off. You'll probably notice that you look more toned before you notice a weight loss.

Enjoy your run tomorrow !

Good luck, I started yesterday so we are on the same week. Hopefully we will finish together.. I didnt weigh myself either, I just want to feel fitter and more tonned no point in dissapointing yourself with the scales, just see what you can acheive. I will be looking out for you..

Good luck! Don't get discouraged by the scale though. I've been running and dieting for 7 weeks now and the scale only says I've lost 1 pound. But, my clothes, well that's a different story. My clothes tell me I've lost 10 pounds! Replacing the fat with muscle and having the fat redistribute itself as they say. You'll see results if you stick with it. You can do it! :)

As hard as it is try not to focus on what the scales say, if you stick with the programme you'll be feeling fitter and may find a change in your body shape rather than the scales.

Good luckj.

Good luck on your first run tomorrow. don't worry about your speed. Due to dodgy knees i do a sort of strange speed walking thing. I also don't obsess about moving through the weeks. if i like the tunes I repeat that week. I am quite fond of week 2 lol. I have been doing the program for 3 months. I have lost 35lbs and taken 7 inches off my waist :-) If a reformed couch potato like me can do it anyone can. Go for it!!!!

Not what you're looking for?
