I fell :'(

today I have now not run for 6 days :(

Last Tuesday I was on w8r1 and had 5 mins left of my 28 minute run when I fell and pulled a muscle in my ankle. I had forgotten how much that hurts! Luckily I have an ankle support (due to an over cautious nature) and now I think I have almost completely recovered. Tomorrow I will continue with my running, starting again from w8r1. I hope everything goes alright!

I know this is a cliche but falling over has not put me off, running has changed my life. I live with 5 other girls and 3/5 of them are also on the C25K programme, it's amazing how our fitness has improved, I have dropped a dress size and lost a considerable amount of weight, my fitness has never been better!

Well done for not letting the injury put you off. Just make sure it really is healed before you take off again. Don't worry also if you find restarting at W8R1 hard, it is perfectly ok to drop back and repeat a week or more when you are coming back from injury. Just go out, take it very easy, see how the ankle feels.

Good for you! A fall shakes you up but glad to hear it hasn't put you off. Good luck, take it easy and let us know how you get on.
