Really struggled over the past weeks due to holidays illness and laziness. 😐

W7 took ages 😒

I managed w8r1 before getting a bit ill

Just asking.... running treadmill... not getting close to 5 km with my w8r1 .... 3.8km

Am i running too slow? Should i just continue as is and be happy with my progress albeit slow?

Thanks

Snap! Week 3 took me 2 weeks to complete although I did it 4 times, Week 4 heading the same way.

So am wondering if it's ok to take 2 weeks to run a week, if you know what I mean?

Yeah i took a month for some weeks 😝 not joking. Id rather wanted to finish feeling content as i knew the following week is harder

And because life happens... didn't get to 3 runs in a week, time away from home for work... blah blah 😁

That makes me feel better, should complete it by end 2018 then! 😜

If it is taking that long, then just slow down... then slow down some more... this is a great journey... take your time and enjoy! :)

There is nothing wrong with doing a week 8 run in 3.8km. That is perfect. The goal is to be able to run non-stop for 28 minutes. Distance is irrelevant. Your pace is fine. Keep your head up and keep running, your doing really well. Your almost at the finish line. In week 9 you will be running for 30 minutes. Forget about 5k. When you graduate you could start running towards completing 5k by doing Parkruns or entering a 5K fun run.

Your doing great.

You might want to try running out doors for a change too - much easier to adjust your pace - you actually feel if you're getting somewhere - and I just hate treadmills - so dull! (but that's just me!) - and that other stuff about running 28 minutes and not sweating the distance is easier too!

Nope.. no such thing as too slow... unless you are running from flesh-eating zombies of course...:)

Take it slow and take it steady...running for 30 minutes is all it needs to get the Graduation badge... :)
