This explains the runs that you do each week.

This is a great way to tone up and increase your stamina but exercise is not an effective way to lose weight unless its combined with calorie reduction.

Good luck

I am about to start Wk6 having been recommended by a friend who had lost weight, whereas I need to increase general fitness/stamina really. I am still not managing to "swing a ponytail" and I don't think I will ever overtake anyone but I am enjoying it - and it MUST be doing me some good as I am now doing exercise 3 times a week rather than none! Do every other day is what worked best for me as 3 sessions don't fit into a week and you could easily "put it off". Good luck - and these chats are great to keep your heart going!

3 sometimes 4 times a week but I always have at least a days rest between. I too have weight to lose and have been eating healthier and have lost half a stone so far (now on 3rd week) Eating healthier will give you more energy too. I agree with the others. You can't do either or, you have to exercise and eat well :-)

when I started I did monday, wednesday & friday & had the weekend off. this worked well for me but dont forget, sometimes life takes over & you may have to reschedule & have an extra day or two between runs. just take each run as it comes & repeat them if you think you would feel happier doing so. the rest days are important so try not to skip them.

good luck x
