First, I ran for 35 mins in the pouring rain, because if I waited for it to stop I'd be waiting a long time and was beginning to get twitchy about not running - see, it's addictive!

Second, I ran without Laura because I didn't want to get the expensive iPod wet (see 'pouring rain' above). Sorry Laura but I also needed a break from "You and Julie". Is Julie a runner? If not perhaps she should start. Might solve some of her problems.

Finally, and this is the really good bit, I overtook someone!!!!! No, not a dog walker; another runner. A proper runner, running, and I overtook them, by running faster than them. Crikey. Never thought that would happen when I started in January, running for 1 minute at a time. Yay!!!!!
