...however walking in the rain is NOT!! By the time I got to the final cool down it was pouring down so I gave in and ran home instead of walking and covered 4.3k. RESULT!!!
Very pleased with today's run. My recovery time from running is getting quicker and I'm ready to run again after 30 seconds instead of the 90 Laura gives us in week 2. Teeeny tiny bit of aching in the back of my left leg towards the end but no where near the issues i had on W2R1. It really does seem as though my body is getting used to this running malarkey!!
Happy and safe running in the rain today peeps

Thanks guys! Actually it's now torrential rain here in North Wales so I think I've had a lucky escape! I mean there's rain and then there's RAIN!! Running in that doesn't look like much fun at all.
Make the most of the sun and enjoy your run. As for progressing quickly, I'm pretty much anticipating that as the minutes go up the distance will go waaaay down. Trust me I cover more ground walking than I do running!!
my thoughts exactly after this mornings run/swim!!!! running not so bad but walking in the rain really is rubbish!! W3 R2 and and extra 90 second run at the end because i couldn't face walking in the rain anymore
Well done Fraz, I have not ventured out yet, its throwing it down here. I am lucky today as dont have anything planned so have the whole day to go running. So have decided to wait for it to die down a bit which the forecast says will happen around ten?? Not looking forward to going back to work next week.
