I'm officially a runner

Not just because Laura said so, but because I went out in pouring rain and wind this morning to do run 3 of week 6 and didn't even think about not going out. So did my 25 minutes of non stop running and it felt great, went even better than the 20 minute session last week. I'm loving running and loving the people on this forum for keeping me motivated.

Thanks rob. I had planned to do this run at parkrun tomorrow but something else has come up. But I do plan on a parkrun as soon as possible :)

Well, since it's official, there's no going back now!

Well done on the 25 min run - and on getting out in the autumn weather! It's always worth it.

Good luck with week 7 - and happy running!

Well done. Did the same this morning.

Was tough on my usual route as the farmer had ploughed his field, so was extra muddy.

Shoes weighed a tonne, so really pleased I completed 25 mins non stop with what felt like steel toe capped boots on!

Well done to you too. Especially carrying the extra on your feet. My run is around a local nature reserve (which happens to be about 50 yards from my front door) and it has gravel paths all the way round, so no muddy shoes unless I decide to go off the track.

Well done Sandy. You just have to make sure you don't let weather get in the way - might involve shopping for additional bits, especially if you're going to be out in the dark too.

Shopping for running gear is something I find hard to resist..
