Pouring with rain this morning and about 12 degrees at home so pretty damn cold. Nevertheless it’s Friday, and run I must. Down in the valley it’s several degrees warmer and the rain is lighter. Tolkien would approve of the view this morning.
I opted for a simple out and back along the valley. It's a lovely path alongside a river. Not many tourists about and I didn’t see a single cyclist (e-bikes are the scourge of running in the mountains). My Bluetooth connection failed just before Michael was due to tell me there was a minute to go, so I guessed the last few hundred yards. By the time I had fished the phone out of my pocket the app was a minute and a half into the warm-down walk, so I almost ran for 30 minutes. Yay me! Looking forward to next week.

Thanks!! I wear the same stuff (shorts, t-shirt and a very light sleeveless running jacket) as I do when it's dry. Whether it's rain or sweat I always end up soaking 😂
