Hi all today was WK3 R1 which i flt went ok the second 3mins was very hard but i did it. The realy deflating thing was i finished about 500mtrs short of last week. I coudnt have run well jogged slower than i can walk can I? Has enyone else found they were way short on distance compared to WK2?

yes, it's fine, it's just something to do with pace and minutes doing each. Don't worry. I had a week 8 run where I had and a slower average pace but went further. It's fine, you'll end up going further in a few runs time :)

Don't worry about distance at this time its all about managing to run for the set time...distance and speed will come later. You'll find that over time some runs your cover more distance than others. Note to self - take your own advice!!!!

Good luck with r2

In week 3 you are doing the same amount of running time but 4 minutes less walking time. So as mentioned above don't worry about the distance just concentrate onrunning the time the podcasts say. You will be amazed how you progress. I am now on week 7 and never in my life thought I could jog for 25 minutes non stop but am pleased to say the podcasts have got me this far. :-)
