...but I found tonight's run really hard work. Having decent trainers has helped no end, but I think the mistake I made was going for a run after work, when I was really tired, rather than going stupidly early in the morning when I'm at my best. Oh well, I've learnt my lesson now. I'm going to repeat R3 on Saturday morning, just to boost my confidence a bit, then progress onto W2 starting Monday.

Good for you. You have made a great start. I definately run better first thing too, I think the empty stomach helps me! I'm on week 8 now and cannot believe I have kept going. The whole experience has been amazing and for someone who hated exercise this plan has worked a treat! Keep going and let us know how you get on.
Well done completing week one, such a brilliant step. I found W1R2&3 the hardest runs to do.
I knew that I would never do this if I ran after work so I get up at 6am (unheard of before C25K) and run in the freezing cold sunshine. I am lucky to live a great area where I see all kinds of wildlife, last run was some deer, this morning was a small flock of our local pest, green parakeets!
Stick with it, is so rewarding but sooo addictive!
Well done. It's a great feeling getting through week one. Keep going it's worth it. Good luck for the weeks ahead & trust laura it really works I agree with Mirella this programme is very addictive!
Well done in getting through the first week. It is hard but such a sense of achievement when in a couple of weeks time you feel the improvement. Keep it up and best of luck
Again, well done for starting! I still amaze myself every time I a) go out for a run and b) complete it, but the programme is really good. It really works, and something about it is very motivating. Enjoy your progress!
