W1 Completed

I did W1R3 today in the morning sun. It was a pleasant experience up until run 5 when I felt like a thigh muscle pulled ever so slightly. This is probably a result of over-exertion as I went for a 14 mile bike ride yesterday and definitely should have allowed myself a rest day in between. That's me told by my body!

At least 2 days of rest now with some yoga, stretching and listening to my body before I move on to W2R1.

Excited to advance to the nest stage though!

Well done for finishing the week. Sounds like you're generally quite active

I've been sedentary for the past few months after relocating internationally and struggling to find my bearings but i do enjoy exercise generally.

I've always hated running though :/ I really want to change that one little step at a time! This is wonderful app/community for it <3

Thanks so much for the encouraging comment

Well done 😁 I finished w1r3 on Friday felt fab that I’ve actually finished 😜

I run on the treadmill in the garage, not ready to brave the outside yet 😳 I’m looking forward to my run tonight w2r1, keep it up and good luck 😁

Great work to you too! I find that the only way I’m brave enough to run outside is by pretending that nobody else exists.

If I had a treadmill in my garage i definitely would be tempted by it though 😊 best of luck to you for week 2. We will chat again along the way, I am sure!!

Well done you 👍

Nice work. I just did run 2 yesterday and my 12 year old is doing it with me so we can support each other and both try to get in shape. He is on the big side for his age.

I’m finding it super hard. I’m very unfit as have Asthma but I’m determined to try my best for both me & him.

Good luck to you anyway. X x x

Well done to you too for going for it! It sounds like we both just have to know when to listen to our bodies and take it one day at a time! I hope you and your son are enjoying the journey too! X
