Well, I've only gone and done it haven't I! W1R3 completed - even though it was raining!! So pleased that the runs are achievable - although I can believe that I'd be able to run for 30 mins without stopping yet. But I think I would be able to run for longer than 1 minute now. Starting week 2 on Friday and (can't believe I'm saying this) LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!!!? What is wrong with me?

Oh you silly twisted boy. (In this case, neither age nor gender alter that expression). And it sounds to me like you're ready to inflict those longer runs on yourself now, yes. Just keep doing the impossible (and when that fails, fall back on the possible) and you'll amaze yourself one day by running for 30 minutes.

Well done!! I've just started week 7, running for 25mins non stop, and I *never* thought I'd get there! Keep it up, the plan is amazing :-)

You are taking control of your body and mind! Feels good in a strange way. Did u find by day 3 it was getting easier? I am on week 5, with 5,8 and a 20 minute runs and I started from being a non runner, the programme is designed to push you when you have built up stamina to go to the next level, so don't worry about 30 minute runs now, enjoy the next small step 😀

The first 2 - 3 runs I find the hardest, the 4th one seems the easiest. I know it sounds odd but I think the music makes a difference - the 4 th run beat seems to suit my running pace!? Which week have you found the hardest?

Well done! At the end of week 1 I wanted to pack it in and go back to the couch. I started week 4 last night and was shocked when the 5 minute runs were up as I wasn't struggling . I'm starting to believe in myself, and what seemed an impossible dream in week 1 is beginning to feel a little more possible - such is the ' power of the programme'!

Well done! First week is hardest, just starting....and in the rain!

I love the feeling, still hasn't gone away and I started at the end of October last year. You are doing something amazing for your body and health and each run is a victory for that and there definitely is a runners high! :) Enjoy it all and enjoy the programme. Keep posting on here, any questions, queries, rants etc, they are fab!! :)
