I can't believe i have managed to do this. I was making every excuse not to go out in the snow, tired after nightshift etc... I think the first 10 minutes was the worst, then when Laura said i had ran for 15, that was a boost, as I never thought I would be able to do that, then when she said there were 2 minutes to go I knew I could not stop. Feel very proud of myself, but my legs feel like jelly
Just ran 20 minutes!!!!!!!!: I can't believe i... - Couch to 5K
Just ran 20 minutes!!!!!!!!
That's really fantastic!! Well done!!! Don't worry about your legs - they will get quicker at recovering the more you do this.
Keep going, and remember this moment
Well done! It's a great feeling isn't it.
Great feeling isn't it - well done!
Congratulations! I have just finished the run myself in similar circumstances (getting home 2 hours late from work, dark and angry skies), only for my girlfriend to convinvce me I should go. It's a great feeling isn't it? My legs hurt like hell too now, but as the saying goes 'no pain no gain'. Keep up the good work
To run for 20 minutes is brilliant, but to do it in those conditions after a nightshift is awesome! Well done!
woo hoo well done! bet you are still smiling
Thanks everyone, the support on this forum is amazing it makes me believe I can really complete the program
WOW, well done you. Have only done week 1 (four times) so far, but I do it after a long day at work on my feet, and think can I be bothered, but I'm so glad when I do - and then before you know it it's done. Keep going.
You're right to be feeling proud of yourself.
Well done !
That's so good! You should feel proud of yourself - I was delighted when I did 20 minutes for the first time, and totally exhausted too! But I've been really pleased to discover that going up to 25 minutes isn't that much harder. I'm on to w7r1 and actually managed to do an extra 3 minutes at the end as I wanted to get to the end of the farm track I was running along. I wouldn't have believed it was possible a week and a half ago! :o)
