Today I am going back to wk 4 . Have not ran in 3 weeks so I want to make sure I can manage to get back into it. If I do is it a good idea to jump to wk 5 or just stay on wk 4. Has anyone else had to back track!

Why not see how your run goes today and then decide if you want to try one of the Wk 5 runs? Wk5/2 is the same length as Wk4 but with longer runs, and I'm sure you remember Wk5/3 is 20 mins! You might have tightened up as well, so stretch that away after your run.

Yep - just see how it goes, but don't push the pace. I 'lost' 4 weeks due to illness in February, but only had to go back 2 sessions. I was in the middle of week 5, just about to do run 3, when I came down with the lurgy, so for understandable reasons decided I'd better retreat to advance ready for the 20 mins! I repeated week 5 runs 1 & 2 and then onto the maginificent run 3. It all worked out fine and I was amazed how my fitness had maintained. Good luck!!

I had 2 weeks off running and had just done one run of week 4. I came back from holiday last night and decided that I must get on track again as I am doing the race for life on 13th May. I was somewhat worried that I would not be able to do week 4 but it was a good run and I loved it. I am going to carry on as normal now with one more week 4 run hopefully on Tuesday and then start week 5 on Thursday. Glad you did not find it too difficult either but it is always a worry when you have a break.
