well I'm still going.... I admit I really didn't enjoy this run. I went alone (which if you look at my past posts you'll know I hate) I think I run slightly faster alone although I tried not to and I think that's making it harder and less enjoyable. The 3 minute run felt like I wanted to stop at 2 minutes. I carried on though hoping a friend will come out with me for run 2.

Well done for completing the run even though you found it hard. This is building your resilience and reminding you that you can do anything if you put your mind to it.
If you found the 3 minute run hard it might be because you were running too fast. When you repeat the run try going a bit slower, it should make a real and positive difference to how you feel at the end of the interval.

As you probably already know, not every run will be enjoyable, but the ones we find hardest probably do us the most good, if not physically but mentally, if you can get through the tough days you mental awareness will be improved, knowing you have got through a tough one will help next time you find it hard.Well done for pushing through.

I’m in Italy so can’t run with you physically but will run with you virtually…
Good job carrying on through the hated bit. We all have those moments it’s how you deal with it that counts….
