today i completed week 1 but do not feel ready to go onto week 2 as i find it very difficult and my legs really ache during the run. I think it might just be me if i put my mind to it im sure i could probably do it.

I felt just like that too. Why not give week 2 a try? If you really can't do it then you can always step back to week 1 again. See how you get on, you might be surprised!
I have just finished week 2 and I did have to motivate myself....but I feel so relieved that I did it. Make sure your stretching enough. Keep going im sure you will be fine.
As long as you have done week 1 - its totally worth giving one Week2 podcast a try - if you struggle too much just go back to week 1 for the next run! Good luck!
And make sure you run really really slowly - setting off too fast at this stage will backfire! Do keep going though, whether you repeat one or two runs or go straight on. It is SO worth doing - well done on all you've managed so far, even though it was tough!
The first run of each new week I start I do really really slowly. I can then gauge the speed I can do it on the next 2 runs. This isn't about speed, my aim has always been to be able to start and only stop when prompted. Because of that, the first run of each new week has always been the easiest.
Give it a go, see how you get on. Do it at your own speed.
I agree with all the above. You have done well finishing week one, it is definitely worth giving week 2 a try.
