Well no, I did actually run it, after a very busy and hard days work, a 40 minute drive home the last thing I wanted was wk5 run 3, but I thought give it a go, if I can't, I can't and I will re run later. So stretches done, new Runar headphones on I started the app and the 5 minute warm up and the heavy breathing had me more convinced this is not my night.Count down to the run, and off we go, no pushing it today! 7 minutes of pure running through custard, wobbly and not into this run at all, but then the breathing rhythm improves, my legs get the needed oxygen and I am feeling great. Could have gone past 20 minutes, don't know how long but I wouldn't go against the program and wanted to stop as knackered.
When those endorphins kick in, they really kick in. The only issues I had were I felt one twinge from my knee and one from my thigh, both very slight and less than a couple of seconds but something to keep an eye on.
Main issue though was my thirst, luckily I had water but my mouth was as dry as an Egyptians sandal. Well on to week six and back to the split runs, getting there and still loving it!
