Hi Oldfloss. Thanks for the shoutout. Just been diagnosed with Browns Disease. It’s another setback in respect of the dodgy knee. It’s early stages so hopefully it will get sorted soon. It messes with the head. Onwards and upwards. 👍

🍏So sad and sorry to hear thatBaggieboy61 Is that the rare condition that affects eyes? Hopefully they can sort it and have you back running in due course once knee is ok too. We runners are made of tough stuff and stick together so we will encourage you all the way!

🍏Bowens is easily treated in the early stages so a very optimistic outcome. Mine was treated with a chemotherapy cream.. & cleared up very quickly. My GP is vigilant in keeping an eye on any suspicious areas. How’s the knee? Are you managing any Strength & Flex while you wait it out?

No worries! If it reassures you, a friend of mine has had a similar (albeit not identical) condition for years. It's dealt with by creams or surgical removal by her dermatologist.

Oh gosh... not what you wanted etc all... but, a diagnosis is a starting point. Hopefully you will get the support you need and can move on as and when!
