Well, despite the awful weather and a niggly cough - not to mention leaving my cosy bed early - I made it for my Parkrun. It’s only my 3rd but I really love it, and I gave my all this morning and managed to (slightly) improve my time at 35.30. I’m happy with that 🙂
Another PB today yeeeay: Well, despite the awful... - Couch to 5K
Another PB today yeeeay
A pb is a pb !
Well done
How brilliant, Sue! You're relly hooked We don't have park runs in France... There's a 5K walk and run in the park where I run, in two weeks and it's for a charity but I'm still hesitating as I'm not sure I will enjoy running with so many people around. I like the peace and quiet of running on my own.
Enjoy your post run now, chilling out!
I think you may be surprised Anthie; there’s something about the buzz and energy of being in a crowd of runners. It caught me by surprise and I’m sure you will have a really enjoyable run. And hats off to you doing something for charity. 👍👏👏👏
Well, I haven't registered yet... I believe you're completely right about the buzz and energy. I'll let you know if I'm brave enough to try.
Definitely go for it - it will be a different experience, I feel a pb coming 😝
lol This forum is really awful I can hear all of you saying, come on, go for it! Now I feel I will disappoint you all if I don't try. Mind you, it's also open to nordic walking. I could always take my sticks just in case (I'll probably end up running holding the sticks like a hockey player!!).
Well done Sue! Cough and all! A big buzz at my PR this morning with over 700 runners, interesting to see all the different shapes n sizes enroute, I was also talking to a PR veteran of 380 runs aged 84.... Very inspiring!😊
Well done Sue. Not only a PB, but in harsh conditions and with a cough too! You should be pleased 👍🏼
