I have just completed my final run of week 9 and have graduated.
I didn't think it possible when I started. Running for 5 minutes left me wheezing, hot and bothered. I had a two week break for xmas , so its taken me just 11 weeks and I can run 4.8k in 30 minutes . My next goal is to get to 5k within the 30minutes and who knows go on to the 10k.
To anyone out there who's struggling I promise it gets easier. For me it was getting over the psychological battle ," I can't do this its too hard". When I stopped the self talk and just concentrated on pace and breathing it became much easier and dare I say it sometimes enjoyable.
Good luck to you all x

Congratulations to you Seakite on graduating from C25K, onwards and upwards to 10K but remember to run at least 4/30 minute consolidation runs before you think of increasing your distance.
I’d like to say that while consolidation is a good option for what to do post-gradation, it isn’t compulsory. The app now has good guidance on how to increase your distance while minimising injury risk.
Seakite massive congratulations to you! If you’d like a virtual graduate badge by your name on this forum, let Annieapple know on the thread linked below…
You might like to come over to Bridge to 10k to continue your journey (spoiler alert…you don’t actually have to be training for 10k to be welcome there!!). Have a browse and see…
HUGE well done to you... MissUnderstanding has given you the tips... celebrate first and then, do think, where to next...
Also maybe later, do take a peek at today's Catch Up Corner, ( when I post it) , and check out the advice there for keeping that running body and your running mind in tip top shape! x
