So I shared before that Week 7 was tough as I didn't enjoy the 25 minute runs. Oddly I feel Week 8 has been better. Completed run 2 of Week 8. It was a parkrun and I think I may have accidentally ran 30 mins as it felt okay.
At my first park run I did it in 47 minutes. I set myself a goal of 45 by the end of the year. Yesterday I did it in 39:39.
Looking forward to the next run and Week 9!

The atmosphere at Parkrun is fantastic, all those people somehow give your legs a boost!
Word of caution though, if you haven't completed C25K be very, very careful not to let your enthusiasm get the better of you. Speaking from bitter experience it can be easy to get carried away, run way faster and longer than you're used to and injure yourself in the process (happened to me on my first Parkrun, just after I'd graduated. I was unable to run for 6 weeks after).
Despite the warnings, well done and very glad to hear you're enjoying running again
Thanks folks - I do agree with YLG after a few days: my left calf has been a bit tight for rest of Saturday and Sunday. Feels fine today so final run of Week 8 today. Will take it slow mind.
