Weeks 6 and 7 - I've run for 25 minutes

Well, all of those repeated runs in Week 5 seem to have done the trick. I found Week 6 runs 1 and 2 went all right, and both felt much easier than the first time I did this programme. However, on Week 6 run 3 I just wasn't in the mental mind set and stopped running after 21 minutes, walking the final bit. That was disappointing, but after 3 days rest I managed to run the 25 minutes on my second attempt.

After 4 days rest (well not really, I was moving furniture around and pulled a muscle) I went and ran Week 7 run 1, managing to do the 25 minutes a bit faster! Then after just 2 days rest I did run 2, in the early morning mist. Another 5 days off running, but not rest, just a few house issues needed sorting, and took a lot of my energy. However, today I felt motivated at tea time to get togged up and ran Week 7 run 3, at a nice, very steady pace. The last 5 minutes felt hard but I did it! I think I'm a runner, woo hoo πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜€πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜€πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

You alwyas were a runner... your running body had just forgotten !

Well done you... on a good run.... slow and steady, relax into these lovely, longer runs now , your running self does know it can do them:)

Pulled muscle, furniture... yes I can empathise..I did the same.. shoulder.. just turning a computer chair!

Enjoy your next run,,, x

🍏Oh there’s no doubt!! You are a runner!! You have the runners determination that keeps getting you out there no matter what, you have the runners brain that knows to listen to her body & make the right choices but most of all you have a runners heart ❀️ The joy, the afterglow of getting the run done! Xx
