hi. All been going super well and really pleased with progress.

and this morning I did week 6 run 1, and it was a killer. I really thought that after finishing week 5 with a solid 20 minute run that going back to interval runs would be a breeze. But not the case.

dis anyone else suffer with W6R1?

thanks in advance.

A lot of runner's are caught out with run 1 of week 6 after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3, this because it's back to interval walks and runs, perhaps you ran too fast today, if you wish you could repeat that run but run the running parts a little slower than you did today

Thank you so much. It’s good to know I am not alone.

🍏 This runs catches many of us unawares Jonts! We tend to race through it instead of taking the runs at a conversational pace to leave room in the tank for the last few runs. You are closing in on the longer runs now and need to pace yourself … slow and easy to start with especially the first 10 mins then pick up the pace if you have the energy towards the end. So well done on getting through it!

Loads of folk.... but you are ready for the runs, just take them slow and steady as you move into the longer relaxed runs!

They are perfect for just going with, letting the legs do what they are getting good at it, and just letting them carry you.

On you go and well done you!
