5 minutes is so long! I did not think I would be able to do it but Denise kept me going. I picked a slightly more downhill route for the first run but determined to do the reverse route so a slight slope up next time. My head tells me hills are good for me but my body says yes but not yet.
I can see progress and my heart rate is not so high as I run so I must be getting fitter.

Mine is a Forerunner 35. I should imagine yours has many more functions than mine which functions other than heart rate, time, distance and pace do you find that you appreciate using?
Well done! I’m still on week 3 and thinking 3 minutes is so long! But I did 3 today and you did 5.. the incremental approach of the programme does seem to make what feels impossible into possible..! I do find that listening to an audiobook helps me to avoid thinking about how long I have to run..
I have music on so I try not to think about the time. I do think the trainers are so motivating. Each time I start again I try a different trainer, I did run 3 week 3 twice as I could not do the last 3 minute run. Well done you, keep going
