I really did not want to get out but I am busy tomorrow so I had to. I am so glad I did, I do feel better for it. I always think people will judge me as a very old, very slow walk jog person but I have to get over this. I am very unfit now but I felt better doing the second one and my heart rate was not so high. I will get better is my mantra.

Wek 1 run2
🍏🤗🙌So well done getting 2 runs done! Forget that description! Every time you put those trainers on and head out you are a winner!!!Running slowly is good!!! Even marathon runners do it as part of their training!! People will be looking at you and thinking wow maybe I should give this a go too!! Xx
Well done for getting out! You can never be too slow in the early stages of thr program. I suspect that most people seeing you will be thinking " good on you for getting out!" . Happy running 🏃♀️ ☺️ 🏃♂️
No such thing as too slow... slow and steady gets us where want to be! You do this your way... and enjoy it!
Well done you, a lot of us are old and some of us are slow, but we run 😁
you are doing fantastically well…it’s all about you, nobody else is to be considered here x
This is a great, inspirational post! You didn’t want to go but you did…and you are conscious that people might be judging you…I think they’re actually admiring you…you never know what effect you’re having on someone who sees you running whether it’s fast or slow, long or short…you might just kick start their running journey…keep plodding…you’re doing amazing 🤩
Like you I felt that people may be watching and judging my 'running'. In reality I imagine most people don't really notice us - they have their things to focus on/think about- but after my first 2 runs during which I felt very self-conscious I just began to pretend that there is no-one else out there and it's just me in my own little world. It has been surprisingly effective. I expect when I'm fitter and have some gear that isn't my dog walking outfit, I will engage more with others and throw out the odd 'good morning' but for now, it's just me out there. Good luck - you did great to get that run under your belt.
