Still using my strategy of not looking ahead to see what's asked of me as that increases my nerves! When Jo said that there would be walk breaks today I was pleasantly surprised...so why was it then so hard!!! After my exhilarating 20 min run at week 5 run 3....should've found this easy...but the breaks made the running harder! Has anyone else found this? 🤔

After the non stop 20 minutes of run 3 of week 5 many people find run 1 and 2 of week 6 a bit more difficult because it's back to interval runs and walks, the best advice is to take those two runs slower than you took the previous runs.

Loads of folk... it takes them by surprise!
The whole programmes is structured to teach us to run and build and consolidate... slow and steady is the way and trust the plan.
This running is about a whole lot more, than one step in front of the other!
Well done you! On you go!

This is very common and while no-one has definitively found out why, many here strongly suspect it's a psychological effect after the 'high' of W5R3.
But no fear... The walking breaks are about to disappear 😎
