Week 6, Run 1

Not going to lie, I found that really tough this morning. Going back to interval running after doing 20 mins non stop really did catch me out and I'd read about that on here so was expecting it. I trust the programme though so have faith it's all designed to help me in the long run. Bring on run 2!

All the runs have to be different, otherwise we would not move on at all :) Well done you, just relax and know that you are ready for each and every run :)

I did it yesterday and was exhausted, but it feels good to be moving on. I have my eye on that 3rd run, its like groundhog day with Week 5. I have MJ as my coach so Im not sure if the advice is all the same, but the "land on your heal" business seemed odd at week 6!

Yes run 3 looks daunting but we'll never know until we try. Good luck with it.

This one catches a lot out after the euphoria of week 5 run 3. It’s all part of the process and soon you’ll be running solid 25 min runs 🙌 well done and enjoy your next run 🏃🏼‍♀️😊

I did that run this morning too and felt exactly the same. I was willing it to be over 😂. Definitely trust the plan though, onwards to W6R2 ☺️

I struggled with W6 R1 too. Was dreading R2 especially as I (stupidly) looked at some comments where people were saying R2 was difficult as well. But went out today and smashed it... and even added an extra 5 minutes on the end of the 2nd run so did 10 mins plus 15minutes. Roll on W6R3 (I know I can do it as completed the full C25K a couple of years ago but stopped due to issues with achilles/calf).

That's great to hear, well done you. I'll give it my best shot for run 2 and see how it goes.
