I am so utterly happy to have completed week 9 run 3 this morning in sparkling sunshine and in a park I have run in before.
I loved the little video at the end of the programme. It really has made it sink in just how much of a journey C25K is. Reflecting on it now I think the benefits to my mental health have been as significant as those to my physical well being. I find myself now looking ahead and planning new adventures. Can I start thinking about a 10k, a half or a full marathon at my age? Of course I can! Maybe I won't manage but equally, maybe I will. There is only one way to find out and that is to have a go. I will definitely be keeping up with running!
A HUGE THANK YOU for the support and encouragement from this lovely community. Engaging with this forum had made the whole journey just that bit more special.
To anybody at the start of C25K who is doubting themselves I would say trust the schedule. Back yourself to get it done at your own pace but most of all enjoy being active and do not worry what others might think.

Congratulations 🎊 Very well done. You areca runner! Don't forget to claim your graduation badge. Consolidation runs for a while will move you forward to whatever goal you aim for but even if 5k is enough for you that's OK. Every run, short or long, is a success. Good luck with your onward journey
🍏🤗🎵🙌🏁🎈💥A huge congratulations to you on all your hard work that has enabled you to graduate today!!! Amazingly well done! Celebrate and enjoy! This feeling will last for days!! Here is the link to your shiny new badge
Check out Juju‘s Magic Plan here on HU. It is a super plan to get you to 60 minutes running or to 10k, which ever variety you choose. Age does not really matter. 😀
Congratulations on completing the program. I hope you continue to have many happy years of running, and spread the word that running is fun Please stay in the group, and continue to share your running experiences. I began C25K in 2014 and I still love reading about other runners' experiences here. I still love running and I'm still learning.
Woo hooooooo! Fantastic…very well done to you!!! I agree on the mental health benefits aswell as fitness …it’s def ‘my space’ so hopefully you’ll be running for a long time now and after consolidating your runs maybe that 10k is just waiting for you in the park where you’ve run part of your journey…congratulations 🥳🥳🥳🥳
