After graduating I did a couple of 5k runs, but then went on holiday with a jam-packed agenda and no opportunity to run (despite taking my kit with me)… back home for a week and hectic work schedule… so about to go for a run now. Any recommendations on which run to do after a 2 weeks’ break?🙂

🍏 Glad you had a good holiday and after getting back into things at home feel ready to run. You don’t lose any fitness over two weeks so just put your trainers on and do a 5 min walk & then back into a nice easy pace 30 min run. If it ends up being a bit shorter it doesn’t matter.. but if you keep it slow and steady you will enjoy it and feel back in your run routine. I see you haven’t claimed a graduation badge yet. Here is the link!

hi CitizenZed …welcome back from a lovely holiday…

I would just get your trainers on, warm up and see how it goes…let us know how you get on

Just head out for a little jogette maybe and see what the body tells you... you may find you can trickle along happily and then... take a look and see where you fancy moving on from... Maybe Week 4? Or if you feel strong ,a gentle 30 minute as Annieapple suggests:)

Thanks for your encouraging comments… I went back to a 25mins run (felt good), then a 28mins run (felt fantastic)… next up 30mins again 😃
