Week 5 run 2 complete with little problem. Calm before the storm probably but run 3 is looming and I guess we'll see how that goes. From memory of the first time around, it'll be a mental challenge but maybe the 72 (and a big bit) old legs and joints might present a physical challenge in their own way. We'll see what Friday has to bring π.
Just another point for those rushing towards the magical 5 km goal, I covered 2.3 km on the treadmill for this run including the 5 minutes warm up and warm down. Slow and steady is definitely the way to go. Previous runs covered over 2.5 km. I'll probably try to up the pace a little for week 6, but maybe notππππ.
All in all feeling pretty good with life. Weighed myself this morning and under 120kg for the first time in, well I can't remember - probably 6 years.
And finally, as they used to say at the end of the news on tele, another photo from the garden since the last one seemed to go down well.
