I’ve just got back and I did it ! Slow and steady got a bit fixated on my calf’s bit of a pain there but just altered how I landed . Last 60 seconds I gave it full zoom ahead and took over the child on scooter who previously relished over taking my slow pace 😂 He was so surprised . I’m so pleased I’ve had a breakthrough , thanks everyone for your support ❤️ Julie Milligan said I’m officially a runner !

Update ! Week 6 r3
Calves oops
Yes you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER Naturebest, well done on completing run 3 of week 6 and overtaking that child in the scooter, onwards and upwards to week 7 which are all 3 /25 minute runs, not long now until you graduate.
Congratulations on another run ticked off and you’ve been a runner for a good while now!!
There’s a bit of a red flag in your post-if you’re in the sort pain that’s making you alter your running form, it’s really important to stop. That might be frustrating (believe me, I’ve been there!) but it’s really not worth giving yourself an injury that puts you out of action for a couple of weeks.
It might be worth investigating adding more stretches and more rest between your runs to help those calves recover. Perhaps pop over to strength and flex for some ideas?
On you go and get that Calf twinge sorted... as MissUnderstanding says, loads of help on the S and F forum ...well done you!
Well done be proud !
Fantastic 👏 well done. See you in week 7 …
