Today was planned, then last night i had an invitation to do a trek with family, that I really can’t refuse as I want to do it anyway! But wanted to run...
So, I thought it’s got to be early and and I’ll hobble later if necessary...
Early night, woke at 6.30
Job done!!!
As always very slow, but so glad I did it...
Recorded on Strava
3.3km 7.44pace 25mins
I know I’ve got a long way to go to get a bit quicker, not sure if that will happen!
Yes, thank you. I am amazed at how well I am - got rid of what I thought was arthritis in my knees once I found out I was coeliac, and started eating for that, and they have got even better since I lost a bit more weight, which gave me the confidence to start running (if you call it running, at my speed!). I never expected to get past week 3, so it is exciting getting this far. I am finally confident that I will get to the end, and continue! I started because I was worrying that without being able to get away for weekends in the hills I was not getting any cardio exercise, and I would lose my walking fitness, as I live in the fens.
At the moment it's not necessarily speed, that come after you graduate, for now pace and stamina is more important, slow and steady is the mantra slogan here on C25K, not long now until you graduate, keep on running 🏃🏾 👍.
