I wasn't/couldn't leave W9R3 for 5 weeks like I did with R2, I was going to do it Monday but, work had other ideas.

So, this morning, I was up and downstairs throwing on the shorts, HRM, running T, socks and barefoot shoes.

Alexa did me the honours of turning on the treadmill and I set off walking while sorting my watch and phone out.

The 30 minutes flew by and I did consider a bout of HIIT runs after the 30 minutes I realised time would be short as I have a 100 mile drive to the customer's office against today.

I've never run mid-fast before but it was fine, no light headed stints, no seeing cheering crowds, etc.

I took a nice Ribeye out of the freezer for when I get home from work tonight, whether I eat that tonight or extend the fast until tomorrow I haven't decided yet.

Plan moving forwards, a run outside, a shorter fast run and a long run, in that order when I can fit them in.

I'm on holiday (Egypt again) from the middle of September but want to fit runs in before then, obviously.

Happy running everyone.

Which type are you doing? How are you breaking your fasts?

I usually follow a 20:4 fast but about once a month I throw in a 48 hour fast.

Intermittent fasting 16-8 mostly but I do a 24 hour fast once a week …I like to break my fast with a whole avacado or some protein I go easy on the carbs 👍

I started the Keto diet and have transitioned to more of a dirty carnivore style.I do like avocados, hence the dirty carnivore.
