Week 6, here I come.

Been a while since I posted but I'm over halfway through my journey to 5K. After doing 20 mins of continuous running I can definitely say it gets easier! No more stitches and can keep my breath. Had a few close calls with leaving runs to a weekend but now I feel nothing will stop me from reaching the end!

Congratulations HarryMan. It looks as if your heading in a great direction.

It feels so great doesn’t it when your runs feel and are achievable.

Keep going and you’ll graduate before you know it. However gradual increases of time and distance will make for a much more enjoyable and doable run. Just enjoy it and when you feel as if some days are harder than others …and believe me they will as we’ve all had those ,then slow down ,or leave it ,recover and run another day.

Your doing great,👍😂

Nothing will stop you from reaching the end of C25K, a big congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran, I am glad that all your stitches have gone and am very happy that you are finding the runs are getting easier.

Slow and steady , on you go.... after this, the lovely longer relaxed runs are just around the corner!

Well done you!

Remember to run slow and relaxed and all will be well :) Also, always begin your run even more slowly. Better to speed up a little towards the end if you have a lot of gas in the tank, than to begin too quickly. If you think of your running effort on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the fastest you could possibly run, then your C25K runs should be at around 4 to 5 effort.
