week 5 run 3 completed!

Oh wow I wasn’t sure I would be able to do this! Had a disappointing review with the physio yesterday should is still not healing properly! So was very fed up! Physio has me limited to a walk and a very light jog!

Hey she has stopped me from doing this so this is a positive!

I completed this today as prescribed at a light jog! So pleased to have done it! What spurned me on was knowing the man that 1st got me running 5yrs ago was out there again today after having stopped running due to knee problems! So the table has flipped as it was me showing him the way to go!

excellent - sorry about your shoulder, but great that you could do w5r3 at a slight jog, over half way now!

It’s so frustrating recovering from injury! I feel your pain. As long as you’re following the physio’s instructions, it will get better in time. Just keep trusting in their expertise. That’s me talking to myself too!

Well done on doing that run in keeping to what the physio said to do (I think I’ve read that right!) 🏃‍♀️❤️💪

yes you have read it right! She’s emailing the consultant as he needs to review it again! She explained it’s not sitting in the socket right & properly broken it! However she is pleased with what I have managed to do so far! Some new exercises to do as well

It’s nice when they’re pleased with you-I got a fist bump from mine at my last appointment. Put me in a good mood all day!

Really hope you can be seen and sorted quickly. 🤞

Excellent, this is always a good run to get under your belt and a light jog is exactly the way to do it.That will also be perfect for the rest of the program, particularly week 6 runs 1 and 2 as they often catch people out with going back to intervals.

Good on you, just keep it steady and be patient and not a patient 🤓

Keep that light jog going and your shoulder will heal

Just over 12 weeks and parts are healing parts aren’t! Since I started C25K I have regained more movement in it because of the pendulum motion from my gentle jogging/ walk! Onwards and upwards! Lol
