Dinner was too late and too large last night to run this morning. I went out for dinner with son and partner and he finished work later than expected. So I got up feeling a little sluggish this morning but my neighbour is keen so we went .
Grey skies and drizzle met us, what a shame for the coronation.
But for a run along the river perfect 😀 first time my neighbours run in the rain and it was wet and puddley so we went very gently and turned at the halfway point.
Each session this week has been a tiny bit faster than the one before though which surprised me.
Walk tomorrow and then I'm off to Devon on Monday, my neighbour is off to Portugal and plans Todo a lot of walking, then we will pick up the programme when we get back.
I don't think it'll be long before my neighbour is completely hooked.

Your neighbour is doing really well and I’m sure she’s learning a lot from you.
You did better than me, I was planning to do the park run, saw the horrid rain so decided to stay home instead 😒 Just had a fab walk along the beach in Somerset and will try to get out for a run in the morning instead. Enjoy Devon!
I agree with Oldlady64 …your neighbour is so lucky to have you to run with. I’d have loved to have had you as my run coach! Great run for you two. Have a wonderful, well earned break ❤️
My neighbour is motivating me, I'll start again in a month as granddaughter is coming home from uni, but I'm not sure when I'll fit in my lovely long runs over the next few weeks
