20,000 ish kms away in the deep south of NZ I ran to give thanks to someone I didn't know but whose encouragement and wisdom had so much impact. I am so grateful to this forum, the whanaungatanga (connectedness and community) that it provides and am sure we will all miss Tim. whether we knew him IRL or online. Condolences to his friends and family. Arohanui.

Tims Run, South Otago NZ
What a lovely place to run
Looks amazing- what a testament to Tim and this forum of his truly global reach and the incredible support that we all give each other. My Hertfordshire run yesterday was wet, muddy and very slow but I’m keeping going - without this forum, and, along with the other wise people here, I can honestly say that I would have given up years ago. So grateful every day, even though my mind and body complain and procrastinate, it’s always worth it, not just for the run but the beauty of nature - thank you for sharing your beautiful scenery.
Thank you and well done. Tim's reach stretched so, so far x
Isn't it just a wonder if the modern age and that he helped make social media so meaningful in this space, quite apart from the running and mentoring. Lovely post and photo of a NZ summer scene.
