Run 1 of Week 7 Done

It was touch and go for a bit on this run, halfway through I kept telling myself it was mind over matter, got my breathing under control and kept at my steady pace till the end.

My only issue is a twinge in my left leg near my glutes. I rested it after my run, used a little heat and will take it easy tomorrow. Fingers crossed for Thursdays run.

Well done starting week 7 , on the fun runs now 😁And yes, your pace and breathing are key to this .

Get some good stretches in after your run and remember you can take more than 1 rest day if needed !

Enjoy the rest of the program 😊

Well done Punkmummy!

I would definitely consider resting for more than 1 day. I have a history of injury and always now rest for at least 2 days between runs. I also followed the great advice I've received here and dynamic stretch before running and static stretch afterwards. I can't tell you how my legs have held up but they have!!

It's amazing. Let us know how you get on!
