Any recommendations on any Apps for continuing to 10k from completing C25K.

would like it to be free. As not interested in any subscriptions.

especially during this cost of living crisis.

As I love running in the great outdoors, it’s just peace in a busy world.

There are no apps for 10K, however, if you wish to run a 10K try Ju Ju's Magic 10 plan, it's not an app but a training course a little like C25K

hello, most here use ju ju's magic plan which can be found on the 'Bridge to 10k' forum here .

Its not an app but a plan to get tou to 10k.

There are effectively two plans in one !

A time based plan to get you up to 60 minutes running or the distance based plan to get you to 10k

You may akso find this post from yesterday usefull

healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Hope that helps

morning!

I downloaded the app “10k trainer by C25K”. It doesn’t have as many voice prompts but it does tell you when to walk and when to run.

I personally struggled following a written plan without the voice alerts. It’s not a great app, don’t expect miracles, but if you like having the alerts it’s a great option.

If you want a free method and that works similar to C25K, you might want to check out this post and the links in it:

Hope this helps.

I see that Park Run recently launched a new app called WithU. It seems to have loads of free music tracks to use while running and doing other kinds of workouts. All you have to do is register for Park Run and start doing a Park Run from time to time now you have graduated. Park Runs are different to running by yourself, these large group runs are popular, but on the other hand, it's encouraging to see lots of other running newbies on Saturday mornings. I downloaded the WithU app, but forgot to bring my earbuds with me on holiday, so I haven't tried any of the tracks made for 5K yet! The only warning I have is that the WithU app tries to get you to "upgrade" to paying £11.99, but you can just dismiss that window and stick with the free selections.

Not what you're looking for?
