completed what a feeling

I was told after major surgery that I would never be able to run but never thought this a problem as it's not something I'd ever wanted to do. 6 years later I decided to do the C25k!I started tentatively thinking I might just do the first few weeks and see how it goes. Last week I completed it and yesterday went out for a run with my son, something I never would have thought possible. All I would say is if you're nervous about starting then don't be. go at you're own pace and follow the programme, it works!

Brilliantly well done! And what a lovely way to celebrate by running with your son.

It's funny how we don't want to do something until we're told we can't! Many years ago my husband told me I wouldn't be able to learn to dive as I've never been confident in water - but I now have my PADI certificate! 😂

That's brilliant! Well done. Was lovely running with my son as he's 15 and it gave us something to do together.

And long may it continue! My 10 year old daughter came with me once but couldn't believe I could run for that long without stopping and doesn't seem keen to repeat the experience! I had to leave her on a bench and keep circling back 😂

Congratulations! 🎉🏆 It's an awesome programme isn't it. Good job you didn't take your doctor's advice, otherwise you would be far less fit and healthy than you are!

Exactly. I've found it to be the only exercise where I'm not in pain!
