Hi annieappleNot that particular one but hip flexor strains were quickly followed by a rotator cuff tear. Both stopped me from exercising. But following physio advice was the best thing and after weeks out, doing the recommended stretches and ice packs, I'm beginning with tentative steps back into running. These things are sent to try us, but you will get strong again. Age will not be a factor!
…but listen to their guidance on how much to do…rest is also important.
When you get the go ahead to restart running, maybe rerun some of the earlier C25K weeks to get a feel for where you are…both mentally and physically…and take it from there
