If you are a C25K graduate and missed a few weeks of running or you are new into the program? You might want to read my experience. I was back in England in January this year. I was so excited to do running in the cold and took all my running gear and was ready to go. The weather was quite cold -2 deg. unfortunately only 3 days after my arrival I caught a very bad cold that developed to a severe chest infection that grounded me from any exercise. This whole thing took about 3 weeks to treat and made me so weak that I couldn’t even think of starting to run.

Two months later, I thought of starting to do a bit of running, OMG it was just impossible to do anything more than just a short walk. This made me realise that the only option left for me was to go back and start week one of C25K. I’m afraid that was exactly what I did and was so determine to get back to the level I left a few weeks ago.

Obviously my stamina and endurances gradually started coming back and at some stage I managed to combine two weeks program in one week but never pushed myself. I’m so pleased I just managed to run for 34 minutes a few days ago. I just couldn’t believe that I made it once again. My advice to anyone who is straggling is just to remember you have all the time in your life to do this beautiful program just focus and don’t feel defeated, slowly but surely, and for those who are new to the program stay focus and just follow Lauras instructions and her tips are so useful. I’m so grateful to God I’m back to running once again. Happy running guys. Back to Friday early morning Hiking
