Week 8

Last run of week 8 done, week 9 here I come 😄.

I went out early again to try to beat the heat but it was still very humid so I was slower than ever🐌but still completed it. Even better Sarah M managed to stay with me to the end today 😊so deleting the app and reinstalling it seems to have worked. I also gave an audiobook a go 📚 much better than music for me. All in all a very sweaty but very pleasant morning run. 😊

Thanks 😊 don't get me wrong I'll be thrilled to bits when (if? don't want to jinx it) I get to W9R3 but is it wrong that as the weeks have gone on it's importance seems to have diminished? It'll be great to get there but it feels more like that'll be just the start and I'm getting more interested in what I'll do next😄.

Thanks 😊 yes it's frustrating when the tech fails but it's also been a bit of a lesson in 'not getting hung up on stuff that doesn't really matter ' so Sarah stopped talking to me, I knew where I was, just stay calm keep running and sort it later. Having said that I did miss her cheery voice 😄

Yay, well done! We’re up to the same point on our journey now 👍🏻 I looked and felt like I’d been in a warm shower when I finished 🤣😂🥵 I might try an audio book or podcast next run, I didn’t hear much nature and birdsong without my music today just cars going past 🙄I’m going to start week 9 on Thursday as it’s hopefully raining then. Good luck with week 9! 😊

Well done! I absolutely hate running in this heat! Normally get up around 6, don't want to get up much earlier than that 😂Good luck with week 9, you've got this!!

Thanks, I think week 9 could take a bit longer than a week, the heat is getting too much for me, I must exercise patience I think 🧘 we'll get there 😊
