Week 8 done!

I just completed run 3 of week 8, so it is just 3 runs to go! It was better than run 2 (but then the 2nd has always been the hardest for me and I went in the morning for once, which isn't ideal for someone like me who doesn't do mornings at all) but - like with all other runs so far - I felt I couldn't do another 30 seconds when Laura allowed me to stop. I know I will manage 30 minutes, but it didn't feel like it. Do you know that feeling or do you feel like you could go on for some time after finishing a run?

I have definitely had that feeling, maybe less so now (W7R2). Maybe though, its more of a psychological thing than a fitness thing? Believe that you can do the 30 mins and stay positive. I always take Lauras advice on the app to slightly up the pace in that last minute just to prove there is a bit left in the tank.

Thanks! I do think it is a fitness thing to some extend, but I am determined to stay positive. Enjoy your remaining runs!

I feel the same as you really don't think I could do another step. Just done W8r2 one behind you and got to say not as bad as W8r1 but still very slow. Enjoy W9 :-o

I must admit I am glad to hear that! So we'll graduate more or less at the same time. Let's share some virtual champagne when we have made it. And enjoy your coming runs ;-) !

Oh yes to the champagne. I had thought last night before the run if I feel ok after 28 mins I'll keep going - Who was I kidding?? But I am going to finish this even if I am the slowest person ever to do couch25K. Let me know how your w9 runs go :)
