Lovely evening with longer day light. What a nice way to end W9R3.

The app and support community is quite something. Very many thanks to everybody.

In a slow, structured and yet progressive manner I have moved from running in 1 minute spans to a 30 minute straight run.

Feel a positive change in health with more "oomph" and also enjoying the outdoors.

My next challange is to enjoy repeats of W9 for a week or 2.

Congratulations and perfect plan! The runs will get a little easier the longer you repeat… consolidation should be done at least a couple of times a year on your running journey (many plans for things like marathons go a step further and reduce the mileage some weeks). Anyways, such things are ahead of you whichever way your running adventures take you… for now, celebrate your achievement to the max!

Hi. What are consolidation runs? I keep seeing this and have no idea what they are? Thank you!

Hi Kay,Having persevered and pushed to final 30 minutes runs in W9, I aim to consolidate and stabilise on this by doing repeat of this rather than going further by repeating week 9.

Ah ok. thanks for that 👍

Exactly that… later in your running journey it will be a consolidation week (or more) where your long run mileage and total mileage don’t increase. Some plans reduce both to give a cutback week instead.
